Geneva Airport

Geneva Airport, located in Switzerland, is an integral travel hub for Europe. The new ‘Aile Est’ building created an entire new terminal to increase capacity to the existing airport.

The building is a model of sustainability and energy efficiency. This project illustrates how passive design, onsite renewables and a focus "Whole Life Carbon" can deliver sustainable airport design.

Jon Schofield worked as an architect on the Geneva Airport design while working for renowned architect Richard Rogers.
